Tom is a climate policy, international law and advocacy specialist, with 15 years of experience working across non-government organisations and journalism. Prior to joining CPD he was a Director with the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change and the Investor Group on Climate Change (Australia/New Zealand). For close to a decade, Tom was a senior reporter and editor at The Age and Sydney Morning Herald covering environmental issues and politics. He has also held senior management positions at major non-government organisations including Save the Children and the Australian Conservation Foundation. Tom holds a Master of International Law and International Relations from the University of NSW and a Bachelor of Public Policy and Manager (Honours) from the University of Melbourne. He lives in Sydney with his partner and son.
