Launching Nudge: The Final Edition with Nobel Prize winner Richard H. Thaler
- 24 Aug 2021
- 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Join Nobel Prize winner and father of behavioural economics Richard H. Thaler to discuss the launch of his latest book Nudge: The Final Edition.
Professor Thaler’s ideas revolutionised economic thinking. The first edition of Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness, co-authored with Cass R. Sunstein, inspired the establishment of more than 400 ‘nudge’ units in governments around the world as well as countless behavioural science teams in every part of the economy.
Nudge is about how we make choices. By knowing how people think, we can use “choice architecture” to nudge people toward the best decisions for ourselves, our families, and our society, without restricting our freedom of choice.
The webinar will also include an opportunity for you to ask Professor Thaler questions. You can submit questions on slido.com using the event code #SBI.
This conversation will be live, interactive and – honouring Professor Thaler’s cardinal nudge rule – it will be fun!
